LANGKAWI TRIP
Hello...Hello...Hello....
Here's what I did throughout the Langkawi trip...
15/11/07-16/11/07
Left home at 9pm...went to dad's office...since it was a company trip...bus was supposed to arrive at 10pm....but came around 11 something..bloody hell!!so got everyone on board....left KL around 12am...headed towards the jetty at Kuala Perlis...the bloody bus was so slow...took us 7 hours to reach the bloody jetty....I think if i drove the bus..I would have done it half the time...so reached the jetty around 7.30am....got on the ferry at 8am...reached Langkawi at 9am...around 1 hour ferry ride....no joke man...sitting in the bus for 7 hours straight....my bloody back was killing me!!!anyways...reached the hotel around 9.30am....ASEANIA HOTEL....checked in and all...and went for breakfast....after breakfast...rested for a while....at around 1pm...had lunch at the hotel itself...and soon after that we went for island hopping...damn fun!!but of course it would have been better if I knew my crowd...anyways...I just sticked on to my parents...so the boat took us from 1 island to another....1st island was to have a swim....next 1 was eagle view....next 1 was the island of a pregnant lady...and took us towards the sea and headed back to our original destination....came back around 5pm....straight went to the hotel...changed clothes...and headed to the pool for some water polo...huhuhu....well my team literally trashed the other team...I lost count...hahaha....and I managed to pull my dad along to join this game...as he had fears for water ever since he was young...cause when he was young..his elder cousin took him to a waterfall...just the both of them...and finally his cousin ended up dead...apparently his elder cousin was taking a dive...but the water was to shallow...and his head hit a rock...and died instantly...this was sometime ago....but I managed to persuade him to get into the pool....so got him into my team...so it went on till 7.30pm....after that was dinner....I was too sleepy..right after dinner I went back to the room and knocked off....and my back was really hurting....so that was day 1....

Day 2 started off pretty well....had breakfast.....then around 8.30am...all of us went to the mangrove swamp....on a boat ride again....so he took us to the fishing farm....then took us to the bat cave....hell a lot of bats....and smells like SHIT!!!hahaha.....managed to see a few monitor lizards...bloody huge ones....swimming across the river banks....saw a few nice big boats....then went to the crocodile cave...and finally took us to the Andaman Sea....Around 2pm...we went for lunch at WAN THAI RESTAURANT....in Kuah Town itself....I was so hungry....I didn't bother talking to anyone...hahaha...so rude rite??!!around 3pm...we went on to the cable car.....nice view of the sea and the whole island....really breath taking views....came down around 5 plus....and headed to the beach for some beach activities...I played beach football...I thought playing with some old fellas would be easy...aiya...can bully this fellas la...apparently...NOT!!!they only look weak...but they can give you one hell of a game...at least I managed to score a goal...huhuhu....my team won overall....and playing football on the beach aint easy...then went back to the hotel around 8pm...had a dip in the pool for a while...chit chatting away with my dad's friends....that night we had BBQ dinner....and the theme was HAWAIAN....enjoyed the food...had a bit of stage performance....the party ended around 12am....with a few drunk people....hahaha...can't even walk straight.....went back to the room..watched a bit of tv...and slept off around 2am....

Somehow today I woke up really early....I woke up at 7 something....felt something was not right...had a morning bath...and followed my dad's friends for breakfast....right after breakfast I received a call from my aunt...who usually doesn't call me early in the morning...she said she needed to talk to my dad urgently...but she was very calm over the phone...so I sent a sms to my dad to call back my aunt as she said the call was urgent...the next thing I knew...a call came in from my dad...he sounded different...he was crying over the phone...gave me the bad news...that my uncle has passed away...my dad grew up with my uncle since young...so the lost of my uncle really affected him....he just broke down that day....I myself was shocked to hear the news...just a day before leaving for langkawi....he took us out for lunch...went to the orchid farm in KL...next thing I knew...he is already gone....So we quickly packed our stuff...and headed towards the airport...managed to get a flight back to KL at 11.45am...only reached my aunt's house at 3pm...I was standing next to my uncle....just couldn't believe my eyes...that he is gone....so I spent the whole day at my aunt's house helping out...

Had Mass for my uncle at assumption church at 11.30am...followed by cremation at Kampung Tengku at 1pm...the rest of the day was spent at my aunt's house...

BACK FROM HOMETOWN....
MY GRANDPARENTSIts been a long week for me...just came back from my hometown, Ipoh.Well, mum has been around for a week plus and the time is ticking faster and faster...sometimes I wished I could freeze time...she has about another 3 weeks to spend with us...all I can do is just spend as much time with her....

On wednesday, mum, dad and I left for ipoh around 6 something, reached there about close to 8.For dinner I had, KFC(6 pieces hot & spicy, mashed potatoes) + Home cooked food which consists of rice, chicken curry, vegetables, and some mutton.I was really hungry that night because I didn't have my lunch and had a late breakfast which was around close to 12pm.....after dinner, just chilled out by watching tv and played fire crackers later on close to midnight.The following day was Deepavali.That was the main purpose we came here and mom wanted to see her parents...

Woke up early in the morning....around 8 am....everyone in the house were already wide awake....grandparents...uncles...aunties...cousins...all getting ready to go to the temple....every year on deepavali...we usually go to the temple to pray and get blessings...as a tradition....before we have our bath in the morning...we must get blessings from our grandparents...after blessing us..they will put a bit of oil on our heads...i dunno why...please please don't ask me!!!hahaha....
Later on back at home, after going to the temple, as usual we will get visitors...close family and friends....had lunch together....etc...as darkness covered daylight...all of us played fire crackers....we had this fire cracker called "BATTERY FIRE CRACKER"....damn bloody expensive....costed RM40...each...9 shots in it....it was something like the big fire works you see during the fire works competition...*bang bang bang bang-for 9 times* and there goes your RM40...hahaha....then had more visitors at night again....didn't know who else came...cause I was already asleep upstairs.....

I will just skip throughout the morning...as usual..bangun pagi..gosok gigi...etc...(there was malay song for it..forgot the song already) around 4pm...we went to Clearwater Sanctuary Golf Club....somewhere near Batu Gajah town.....we went there not to play golf....but to eat ICE KACANG!!!!muahaahahha.....the security guards at the entrance must be thinking...this people all came in 2 cars....not even wearing golf attire....wonder what they are gonna do??!!so yea...we had ICE KACANG!!hahaha...RM6...for a bowl...but 3 people can eat...its so big....its like a bowl of mee curry...with huge crushed ice on it....then had french fries...hahaha....what a combination...chit chat a bit...then headed home around 5.30pm to get ready to go for a function somewhere near ipoh....came back around 11pm....watched a movie and slept off...wait...before that...we celebrated my uncle's wedding anniversary....huhuhu....then I went to bed:)

Today, we planned to go to Tapah waterfalls, Lata Kinjang.All of us woke up around 8ish...aunty and all...did a bit of cooking to pack some food for our family picnic...left home around 9.15am...took a slow drive...convoyed in 2 cars...the journey to tapah waterfalls took us approxmately 1 hour...cause we took the old road...and got into a couple of road blocks...no problem...just put up a cheerful face:)
We reached there around 10.30am....found a spot to place our stuff...then headed for the icy cold water.....the water was freezing cold...as cold as your cold water in your fridge....i was literally shivering....with only half of my leg covered with water...then cousins started splashing water at me...I quickly got out of the water...as it was tooooooooo cold for me....hhaaha....you may call me a pussy now....wait till you experience it yourself!!!!after that we all ate together...spent some good time together...chit chatting away...
Apparently, there was a filming going on....for this new local Malaysian comedy movie called "PAPADAM"...hahaha...damn funny...saw this huge guy...wearing a gorilla costume...and getting whacked by 2 human beings...our family were offered to act in the movie...but too bad...they only could do the filming of us around 5-6 pm...it was way to long for us to wait...and it was only 1.45pm....around 2 plus...we all headed home....had some rest....about 8pm...we were about to leave the house to go out for dinner at my aunt's place in Ipoh...just as I started the car...more family members came....sigh....some more...we already locked up the house...nevermind...since they are already here...might itself we just let them in...as usual topics discussed..among the men....football..politics...etc...among the women...family...health...etc...among the kids/cousins....games...studies...bla bla bla...etc....they left half an hour after that....reached my aunt's house around 9.15pm...greeted hello...how are you...and straight went to the dinning table...hahahaha....took a plate...and served myself...not only me...but my parents...grandparents...other uncle and aunties...hahaha...we headed home around 11pm...took my uncle to the clinic...as he was not feeling well...slept around 12 something...

I did nothing today...just bummed till I left my hometown...left my hometown around 6 something.....took a slow drive as it was raining...on my way back, on the plus north-south highway...I saw an accident...3 cars...on the other side of the road....a proton waja...gen 2.... and a myvi...all 3 were badly damaged....few seconds after that I saw an ambulance....with the bloody loud siren....that should be some serious damage....I didn't bother much...just focused on my driving...had dinner on my way home...somewhere near my house...reached home around 9.30pm....and that is the end of my week.....

SOON-THEY(SUNDAY)/M-UN-TH-EY(MONDAY)

Came back late after a game of futsal with rafie and laura's brother and friends...was back home around 1 am...had a bath and slept off...during the day there was nothing interesting...as usual...lunch...went online...watched the movie click....rested for a while...PURE BUMMER!!!In the evening somewhere around 7pm...I went to segi college, kota damansara campus(right in front of my house) to play futsal with some nigerian and iranian students...honestly...I have never seen people playing "REAL" futsal ever before...as in they were BLOODY GOOD!!!!I was the shortest among them all...as the shortest in their team I played against with was a 6 footer...hehehe...they were so good that I could instantly grade them as International Standard....got one hell of a whooping from them..with their lightning fast legs...skills that makes one stone there for a moment...and height advantage...so yea...actually SIZE DOES NOT MATTER!!!!Its matter of how quick you are in doing those passes...skills..and dribblings...mostly its your reaction time....will be back again to go up against those guys...when I'm slightly much more fitter!!!After that had dinner with a couple of old school friends....the rest were new friends...its good to make new friends...I don't see any harm in it:)

Monday started off pretty well for me....woke up around 10am...did a bit of house cleaning since mom will be back in a couple of days....the house has to be as it use to be before she left....TIP TOP CONDITION!!!My mom is very particular about cleanliness at home....I don't want to spoil her holiday by her yelling at us(me & dad) about cleanliness....so yea...then I was on the laptop around 3pm, when Rafie and Laura came busting in..hahaha.....they came to study at my place...their exams are just around the corner....Laura studied...but NOT RAFIE!!!as usual...any room with any bed=SLEEPING TIME!!!LAZY FELLA!!!While Laura was studying...Rafie and I was watching FREDDY VS JASON!!!The show would have been better if we watched it over at Anne's big screen!!hahaha....oh yea..not to forget...COMFORTABLE SEATS!!!

Then later on around 7.45pm, on the way to the curve, I fetched Anne along......we were there early...so we waited for Rafie and Laura to finish their excersice...waited long enough...no sign of them...then diverted to Kenny Rogers...till they came after 5 minutes...had dinner together...and I had to leave early as I forgot to collect my dad's MC as he was not feeling well today....and took the day off.....headed home and swtiched on the laptop to look for some piloting notes...managed to find it....somewhere around 500 pages of notes...not really complete...at least I get a bit of foundation by reading it....so only printed 100 pages....as I ran out of A4 papers....its 2.31am on a tuesday morning...I'm going to read a bit on piloting stuff....later on clean the house and meet up with my school friends for lunch...
